- these 3 jpegs turned up out of the blue, a commission from 1980 or 1981 when i was 19 from the wine chain Augustus Barnett, part of the advertising campaign for Spanish Wine.

The originals are pen, ink and watercolour paper is A1 in size and i haven't seen them since i did them. It's good to look back at the old stuff and be proud of the fun artwork

and that 40 odd yrs later i'm still making jokes...
so hope you enjoy looking at them.

Royal Mail proposed commission 2005 -
was clearing out old drawers and came across these images from back in 2004 after meeting with the Royal Mail design team in London, these were my proposed designs i did for their Royal Mail Celebration for the Battle of Trafalgar October 21st 1805-2005...sadly not used, ah well, i prefered my designs.

a mouses eye view.....

many thanks to all those who write in and wonder what the studio looks like and what i use to draw with etc.
I love to use steel nibs, bits of brushes, handmade wiry things, great big leaky pens and needle fine nibs and loads of ink and watercolour.
